We will be going to
Primetime (in Abilene) on May 21st to celebrate the end
of the semester. We will be leaving at 5:30 PM and
returning around 9:30 PM. For $10, students will get to
bowl, receive a $5 arcade card, and get to choose one
major attraction, including go-karts, laser tag,
mini-golf, batting cages, NASCAR simulators, XD theater,
and bumper cars. All participants need to turn in a
signed parent release before going with us. They are
available in the church office and the youth room. It is almost graduation time for our seniors. That means it is time to fill out an information form and submit pictures for our senior recognition service. Forms are available in the office and will be sent out in the mail this week. Please return them with a baby picture and a senior picture for our presentation. |

Our Lord’s meaningful “I Am”
(ego eimi, Gr) in the Greek text of the gospel of John.
Jesus was referring to Himself as God (Jn. 4:26;
6:20,35,41,51; 8:12,18,24,28,58; 10:7,9,14; 11:25; 13:19;
14:6; 15:1,5; 18:5,6,8) In several of these, He joins His “I
AM” with seven metaphors which are expressive of His saving
relationship toward the world. |

| I
am looking forward to sharing with you this coming Lord's Day as
we begin a journey into the book of Exodus. God had so
many special plans for His children and He used people just like
us to bring about those plans. You and I can rest assured
that God still has marvelous plans for us but the only way that
we can get in on what God is doing is by making His will and His
way a priority for our lives. We are going to examine the
first promise of chapter 1 in Exodus and it is simply this, God
does. Whatever it is that God needs to do, He does.
God cares, God loves, God comforts, God keeps, God holds, and
God disciplines. We can trust that God does all that He
promises in His word. Take Him at His promise this week
and put Him first and only in your life. I am glad I am
your pastor.
