Larry Wesson began serving as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Eastland, in August, 2001. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University (B.M.E. ’73) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.R.E. ’82). Larry’s heart is to equip and lead our church family to worship and praise the Lord with our whole heart and being. Larry is married to Rebecca (Laminack) Wesson and they have one daughter, Mary, a graduate of Texas A&M (’06).

Larry is very active in the Singing Men of Texas (North Central Texas Chapter), a choir of Texas Baptist Ministers of Music, who sing concerts in North Texas area churches during the school year calendar (Sept.-May) each year.

Kim Maynard

Church Secretary

Kim started serving as church Secretary in January, 2015.  She and her husband, Jason, have 5 children: Caiden (16), Rianna (12), Maddie Jo (12), Dylan (11), and Emerson (6).  Kim grew up in Eastland and graduated from Eastland High School.  She enjoys reading and "attempting" to make craft projects she sees on Pinterest.  Most of all she loves being a mom and  the hustle and bustle of running her kids from softball, to dance, to band, and all over.   But she wouldn't have it any other way.  Kim loves ministering to the public and enjoys being the first face you see as you enter the church.

Josh Liles

Student Pastor

Josh came on our staff part time in 2012, and finally committed to a full-time position in October of 2014. He is a graduate of Coleman High School and Arlington Baptist College ('12). Josh married his best friend LeDawn in 2007. They added Tate (a black lab) to their family in 2008, Berklee (a beautiful little girl) in 2013, and Finlee (another beautiful little girl) in 2016. The Liles family loves all things sports, but most of all baseball and the Texas Rangers. Eastland is the perfect place for their little family to live in community and make an impact for Christ.

A self-proclaimed "techie" Josh loves his role as the "Media Guy" here at FBC, and he's always looking for new ways to use his passion for the Lord.

Kathy McFall
